Hot Boys’ Turk Released From Prison After Serving 9-Year Sentence

Turk was released from jail today and is planning to get right back at the music and his career.

Hot Boys’ Turk is finally a free man. After spending nine years in prison, AHHreports that he was released from jail today.

Turk served nine years  for a weapons violation and was released from the Forrest City, Arkansas Federal Prison today (October 12th). The rapper was a member of the Hot Boys, alongside Lil Wayne, Juvenile and B.G. His rap career took a turn for the worse in 2004 when he was involved in a shoot-out with the Memphis, Tennessee S.W.A.T. Team as they raided his apartment.

Two officers were injured during the shoot-out, which eventually resulted in his 9-year prison sentence. Now that Turk is out, he’s working on new music as well as an autobiography titled “The AutoThugography Of Turk.”
